Our little corner of the internet is about love, family, and the winding road that brought us here. It’s about saying “yes” to the unexpected and discovering that sometimes the life you were meant for looks a little different than you imagined.

I’m Juan, and alongside my husband, Eliot, we’re the proud (and still sometimes in awe) parents of one incredible boy, Jacob. Our journey to becoming a family wasn’t fast or simple. It was filled with paperwork, waiting, uncertainty, and more emotions than we could count. But at the heart of it all was love and the belief that every child deserves someone to show up for them, every single day, without question.

Jacob came into our lives in a way that feels like it was written long before we even knew it. He’s full of energy, imagination, and a resilience that inspires us daily. Being his dad's is the greatest gift of our lives and also the most humbling. Parenting is beautiful and messy, and adoption adds its own unique layers of joy, healing, and learning.

This blog is our space to share that journey honestly. You’ll find the big milestones and the small, everyday moments that make a family. We’ll talk about the heart-swelling joys, the challenges that stretch us, and the lessons we’re learning as two dads navigating adoption, parenting, and life together.

Our hope is that by opening up our story, we can:
